Beta Access Open To All Teachers

So wouldn’t you know. Summer brought with it a raft of unexpected delays that means that although I wanted to be all set for launch for September, sadly that is is now not the case.

But fear not, the site is ready to access and use for your classes for this new year and the great news is that while I am still developing you are free to use the site, well, for free!

I have decided to roll the beta testing and development of the site on until January. This means that from now until January, all of the teacher tools will be free for you to use while they are being developed and improved.

There will be a subscription for the teacher tools when they are launched in January, so sadly not everything will be free forever. However, I am assessing my costs while I run the site and will give more information as we get a little further into the year.

What can I do now?

Currently you are able to perform all of the functions you will need to run your classes…just some parts need some polish and some things aren’t quite finished.

So you can set up classes, use our preset assignments to set work for your classes, record and check students project work through the gradebook and feedback to your students on their progress.

There are a lot of features coming and I will be working through them as quickly as possible. If there is something you see that you think needs improving or changing then please check the blog post on testing feedback for more information on what is to come. You might find it is already going to be addressed.

Your feedback is welcome.

I’m developing this site from the viewpoint of a teacher. What is it that I need…

If you wish to comment on any aspect of the site or suggest improvements or changes, I am listening. Please use the contact link on the website about page to get in touch.

Register for Beta Access

In order to get access to the site you will need to request an access code before you can create your account. Simply fill in the form, making sure you have a valid school email address and your status as an active teacher can be validated. I do have a backlog of requests that I am currently working through so please be patient as I work through the account creation process.

That’s all for now! I hope you had an excellent and relaxing summer and are all set for the challenges the new year will bring.
